btt Corp. ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Site.

Data Collection

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, and postal address.
  • Account information: username, password, and account preferences.
  • Health and wellness information: information you choose to provide about your health, and information generated during sessions at a participating wellness center, including temperature readings and session reports.
  • Commercial information: services requested or purchased, and payment information processed by our payment provider.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, time on site, referring page, device type, browser type, IP address, and approximate location.
  • Communications: messages you send us through forms, email, or phone.

We do not collect or process personal information about clinical trial participants through this Site. Information collected in connection with a clinical study is governed by the study's Informed Consent Form and HIPAA Authorization, not by this Privacy Policy.

How We Collect Your Data

  • Directly from the user during registration.
  • Automatically through cookies, analytics tools, and usage tracking.
  • Through third-party services, such as location mapping.

Purpose of Data Collection

We use the collected data to:

  • Provide and improve the Site's features.
  • Generate reports and insights about the services you request through the Site.
  • Comply with legal obligations and security measures.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share personal information only as follows:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under written contracts that limit them to our instructions (payment processing, hosting, analytics, email delivery, and customer support).
  • Participating wellness centers, only when you request a service from that center and only the information needed to deliver it. Health information is shared only with your explicit consent.
  • Legal and safety disclosures, when required by law, subpoena, or valid request from a public authority, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

User Rights

  • Under the GDPR: Users may access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, and object; receive a copy of their data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time. Users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
  • Under the CCPA/CPRA: Users may know what personal information we collect, access it, correct it, delete it, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and limit the use of sensitive personal information. We will not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

We respond to verified requests within 45 days (CCPA/CPRA) or one month (GDPR). We may ask for information to verify your identity before acting on a request. To make a request, write to info@bttcorp.com.

Data Retention Policy

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and to meet compliance and security requirements.

We determine retention by the purpose for which the information was collected, the length of your relationship with us, and any legal, tax, accounting, or recordkeeping period that applies. When a period ends, we delete the information or de-identify it.

Security Measures

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and tracking tools to enhance user experience and service functionality. Users can manage their cookie preferences. See Cookie Policy.

International Data Transfer

User data may be processed outside the user's country of residence. When we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism. You may request a copy of the safeguards we use by writing to the address below. btt Corp. ensures compliance with applicable data protection laws for international transfers.

Children's Privacy Compliance

The Site is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Updates to the Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes by email.

Clinical Research Information

This Policy does not apply to information collected as part of a clinical study. If you take part in a study conducted by btt Medical Institute, the information collected about you is governed by the study's IRB-approved Informed Consent Form and HIPAA Authorization for Use and Disclosure of Protected Health Information for Research. Study information is never used for marketing.
